Webflow Developer / Designer — Contract, Part-time

Spark Digital Studio is a small, creative, Indiana-based Webflow studio. We specialize in building functional, beautifully designed websites that help businesses grow and create outstanding customer experiences.

I'm looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Webflow designer to support ongoing client website updates and new builds. You'll be working directly with clients on real projects, so accuracy, professionalism, and clean builds matter,  as does the ability to communicate clearly and represent the studio well. Our clients span a wide range of industries — from dental and healthcare to financial services and everything in between. No two projects look the same, so if you love variety and thrive when switching between different brand styles and verticals, you'll fit right in here.

This is a great fit for someone who has strong design taste, moves efficiently, and takes pride in how their work is structured, not just how it looks. I'm looking for someone who feels like a true collaborator. Someone I can hand off work to with confidence, who takes ownership of their tasks and communicates like a partner, not just a contractor checking boxes.

Hours: ~10-12 hrs/week to start (may grow)

Rate: Flexible based on experience and location — tell us what you're looking for

Schedule: Remote + async, with daily check-ins and dependable responsiveness

What you'll do

  • Build and update client sites in Webflow (new sections, layout tweaks, responsive fixes)
  • Build new websites and landing pages from concept or design to launch
  • Communicate directly with clients on project updates, feedback, and revisions in a professional and timely manner
  • Use Figma for mockups and iterations when needed
  • Maintain clean, consistent builds: proper class naming conventions, organized structure, colors and typography added to variables, buttons styled as primary/secondary/etc., and reusable components where appropriate
  • Manage your own tasks with minimal hand-holding and communicate clearly async via Slack

Must-haves

  • Strong Webflow experience (non-negotiable)
  • Familiarity with Client-First methodology and/or Relume
  • Solid web design and UX fundamentals
  • Clean, organized builds: correct heading hierarchy, proper use of styles and variables, no stray classes or messy structure

  •  Comfortable taking feedback and iterating quickly
  •  A collaborative mindset: you take ownership, communicate proactively

Nice-to-haves

  •  Light HTML/CSS comfort for small tweaks or custom embeds
  •  Experience working within a client-facing agency environment

To apply, please send the following to natalie@sparkdigitalstudio.com:

  •  Portfolio (Webflow examples strongly preferred)
